This question is so common in life. Once you accomplish something you set out to do the natural reaction is “so, what’s next”. You graduate high school, your family asked this question. Then after college it was asked again. After you begin dating someone new, after you get married, after you have kids, with your work, after you reach a goal this question always seems to follow. However, I feel that due to this looming question it always leaves us on the quest for more, to push our boundaries, dig deep in self discovery and reflection to make ourselves aware that we are capable of more. “What’s next” can translate to “You are not done”
And no. I’m not done.
My first cookbook is officially published after years of working on it. I have jokingly referred to my cookbook as my “baby” I’ve “carried” it for years and finally brought it into this world. A bouncing baby clean eating cookbook weighing 1.3lbs and 8”x8”…mom and cookbook are doing great!
So what’s next….I thought I’d take a moment to share with all of you amazing Fit Home and Healthers ..but first is “healthers” even a word? Should we make it one? I seriously need a name for all you amazing folks!! Suggestions welcome!
Ok- back on track (for a little while at least!)
It’s a week away from Christmas. I’ve been somewhat quiet on social media due to taking tons of time planning for 2017 (and the regular hectic holiday stuff). I’ve been lining up book interviews, signings, events, planning for new things I have been dreaming of doing to provide more value to all of you.
Here is a “short list” of those items
-Began writing the second cookbook which I am thrilled about. It’s something totally different and fun and I think all of you that have the first book will absolutely love the second one. So when will it be available? I’m shooting for fall 2017. I would love to have it done sooner but like I said, it’s totally different than any other cookbook so it will take longer to piece together. The long term goal is 4 books- all the same size/feel and then do them as a box set! Shove that under the tree Santa!
-I’ve been working really hard on a schedule for blogging more regular. Not just recipes, but all the other random things I love- food, health, fitness, life, love, happiness, puppies, this crazy society…and all that good stuff! I just want to give more and that’s why I have been a “ghost” lately. Especially on my Snapchat (@emilyfrisella) which if you follow me you know some days I’ll post what seems 4,876 snaps of new recipes, food tips, etc and others…maybe just a couple. Lately I’ve been on team ZERO! I have not left snapchat, just in full planning mode and focused on 2017
-Working on creating a fun new project that I’m pumped about for ladies local to the St. Louis or Illinois area. I don’t want to say anymore until I get my ducks in a row. I’ll be sharing more in January.
-Bought a new camera to start getting some really great photos and shots for you guys for the blogging I will be doing. All I can say is I need to learn how to use it! I miss the days of point and click!
I will be doing more YouTube video tutorials on all kinds of nonsense.
Basically- I just want to share so much with you guys. I have a lot I want to share but have lacked the manpower to make it all happen so I hired a photographer/videographer to make the magic happen. That was always my biggest issue. I would film things but no time to edit and load them. As I write this I have 6 awaiting videos to edit…I’m pretty sure they are in the editing graveyard in my computer (that’s what I call it..the graveyard. Videos go there to die because I neglet them)
So- 2017…I’m coming for you!
If you have any suggestions of things you’d like to know more about, see tutorials on, blogs on, questions, anything! Please leave a comment or shoot me an email to Emily@fithomeandhealth.com I’d love to hear from you!!
Kill it always in all ways,
